Thank you for sharing your caring experience!
Between November 2015 and February 2016, The Caring Experience project was fortunate enough to meet family caregivers across Ontario through in-person workshops, online surveys, and in-depth journey mapping activities. This first phase of The Caring Experience project has now come to an end.
During this period, we met 100 caregivers at our 8 workshops across the province, heard 18 journey mapping stories, and received over 300 responses to our mini online surveys.
Thank you to everyone who shared their experience as a family caregiver!
INITIAL SURVEY RESULTS
Here are a few preliminary results from the mini online surveys:
The Change Foundation is now working with Overlap Associates to review findings and develop major themes from the online surveys, Journey Mapping and Caregiver Workshop engagement exercises.
We have already accumulated a wealth of information and insights shared through each aspect of this project. From hearing the good, the bad, and the in between, this knowledge is truly invaluable and will be used to inform future work of The Change Foundation.
Stay tuned for the release of our findings later in 2016.
Phase II - The Caring Experience: Provider Engagement
The Caring Experience project is now entering the next phase of the project, led by The Change Foundation. The Caring Experience: Provider Engagement will include a series of engagement sessions and an online survey to health care providers to gain important perspective on their relationships and interactions with family caregivers.
